New edition now $29.99 available locally and online in conjunction with second anniversary of officer murders

The new edition of this beautiful hardcover coffee table book (9″ x 12″) is now available for $29.99 at Amazon.com and at several Seattle-area stores: The Elliott Bay Book Company on Capitol Hill (and on their website), Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park, Parkplace Books in Kirkland, the Seattle Police Museum in Pioneer Square and the Bridle Trails ACE Hardware Store in Kirkland, one of the hardware stores at the forefront of the movement to display blue lights as a sign of support for law enforcement during that painful time in late 2009 and to donate proceeds from the sale of those blue lights to the families of the fallen officers.  Now that we are in the sad time period of the second anniversary of the murders of Seattle Police Officer Timothy Brenton (E.O.W. 10/31/09) and the four officers from Lakewood — Officer Tina Griswold, Officer Ronald Owens, Sgt. Mark Renninger, and Officer Gregory Richards (E.O.W. 11/29/09) — please consider putting blue lights on –  if not in or around your home, most certainly in your hearts.  Any time an officer is slain in the line of duty, it is a tragedy.  We remember these five in particular because they were targeted because they wore the uniform.  Proceeds from the sale of the book continue to benefit the Seattle Police Foundation.
